Gudrun Arenander

Gudrun Eivor Elisabeth Arenander, née Eklund, (born March 25, 1921) is a former Swedish discus thrower who competed at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London. Competing out of IFK Lidingö, she finished 12th in a field of 21 participants at the women's discus throw. Born in Ekerö,[1] she made her athletic debut at a championship in Gothenburg in 1943, setting her personal best throw of 40.37 in the discus event. She became a member of IFK Lidingö in 1944[2] and placed fourth at the 1946 European Athletics Championships in Oslo.[1]
